It is perfectly located to combine relaxation and serenity, yet within short distance of popular restaurants, bars and other attractions. Stunning beaches are a short drive down the mountain. There are many choices of shops, cafes and restaurants in Kalamata that you would enjoy visiting.

Mountain hikes

There are many choices of mountain treks, within walking and driving distance, with spectacular scenic views. The nearest to Shiraz Villas is the hike to Ano Verga that is over 1000m above the sea level. The view from the village of Ano Verga is mind-blowing!

 

Tandem Paragliding

Paragliding tandem is for those who wish to experience a bird's eye view of the Messinian bay. The flight starts from village of Ano Verga (3km from Shiraz villas) carried out by an experienced and qualified pilot.

Water sports

For the more active visitors, we can suggest sailing and day long sea kayaking excursions around the coastlines of Mani and Navario Bay near Pylos

The well-known tourist towns of Kardamyli, Stoupa and Agios Nikolaos, within 20km distance, provide the perfect option for a day trip. Additianally Messinia has many picturesque small coastal towns, such as Pylos, Koroni, Methoni, Finikounda, Kyparissia; and archaeological sites, such as Ancient Messini, an ancient town with stage theater, baths and a market.
